Shipping Policy - the basics

At ID, we take pride in offering sustainably and ethically made clothing. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. However, please review our Shipping and Return Policy carefully to ensure a smooth shopping experience.

Shipping Information

We offer worldwide shipping to most countries. Shipping costs and delivery times depend on your location and the shipping method selected at checkout. Here are the key details:

  • Processing Time: Orders are processed and shipped within 2-3 business days of order placement.

  • Shipping Times: Delivery time varies based on location:

    • India: Typically arrives within 5-7 business days.

    • International: Typically arrives within 7-15 business days, depending on customs and local delivery conditions.

  • Shipping Fees: Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the delivery address and selected shipping method. International customers are responsible for any additional duties or taxes incurred during delivery.

  • Tracking: Once your order has shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email to monitor the status of your delivery.

Returns and Exchanges

We want you to love your purchase! However, we understand that sometimes things don’t work out. Please read the following return and exchange guidelines:

Returns for Store Credit or Exchange

  • We accept returns for store credit or exchanges within 3 days from the date you received your order.

  • To be eligible for a return or exchange, the item(s) must meet the following criteria:

    • Unworn and unwashed.

    • All original tags attached.

    • In original packaging (where applicable).

Refunds

  • We do not offer refunds under any circumstances except in the case of damaged or defective items.

  • If you receive a damaged item, please notify us immediately at contact@idclothing.com with a description and photo of the damage, and we will process a full refund or replacement.

Non-Refundable Conditions

  • Change of Mind: We do not accept returns for change of mind.

  • Incorrect Sizing: Please refer to our size guide before placing your order. Returns due to incorrect sizing are not accepted.

  • Unwanted Items: We do not accept returns for items that are no longer wanted, including those that may have been purchased by mistake.

Return/ Exhange Process

To return or exchange an item, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us: Send an email to contact@idclothing.com within 3 days of receiving your order to initiate the return or exchange process. Include your order number, a brief explanation, and a photo of the item(s) if applicable.

  2. Return Shipping: Once your return is approved, you will be provided with instructions on how to return the item(s). You are responsible for the return shipping costs, unless the item is defective or damaged.

  3. Processing Time: Once we receive the returned item, please allow up to 7 business days for your return to be processed. Store credit will be issued or your exchange will be processed, depending on your preference.

Exchanges

  • If you would like to exchange your item for a different size or style, we will assist you in selecting a replacement product.

  • Exchange items must meet the same eligibility criteria as returns: unworn, unwashed, with tags attached, and in original packaging.

  • If there is a price difference between the exchanged items, you will be charged for the difference, or the difference will be refunded in store credit.

Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive an item that is damaged or defective, we will offer a full refund or replacement. Please notify us within 3 days of receiving the item by emailing contact@idclothing.com with the following:

  • A description of the damage or defect.

  • Photos of the item and the issue.

  • Your order number.

Once we confirm the issue, we will provide you with instructions on how to return the item. We will cover the cost of return shipping for damaged or defective items.

International Orders

For international customers:

  • Returns and exchanges are subject to the same policy as domestic orders.

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, and we recommend using a trackable shipping service for returns.

  • International customers may also be responsible for any customs duties or taxes for returned items, depending on the regulations in their country.

Final Sale Items

Items marked as "Final Sale" or "Non-returnable" are not eligible for returns, exchanges, or refunds under any circumstances. Please review the product details before purchasing.
